September 9, 2010 - Euroleague teams help Special Olympics
Euroleague Basketball clubs have taken time
from their preseason schedules to help promote the 2010 Special
Olympics European Summer Games. Players from both Fenerbahce Ulker and
Union Olimpija last week helped carry the torch that will light the
Special Olympics flame when the Summer Games begin on September 18 in

showing impressive as they beat Slovenia convincingly 95-68 in
quarter-final. Turkey left no chances to their opponents and dominated

September 8, 2010 - Benetton takes Peric on loan from Unicaja
Benetton Basket Bwin will have forward Hrvoje
Peric on loan this season after agreeing to terms with his club,
Unicaja. Peric (203, 24), who played for KK Zadar in recent seasons,
signed a three-year deal with Unicaja this summer, but was not in the
